 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of Joanna Noyes, an actress and Jan Steen, a director and actor. She is of Dutch and Scottish heritage.



 



 Steen Apart from her professional career as an entertainer, is also an environmentalist and an advocate for animal rights. She supports David Suzuki and the World Society for the Protection of Animals. She is certified to dive and has learned a number of circus arts, such as stilt-walking, fire-twirling, and stilt-walking.
